Hi all,
I'm another newbie to Web Query and am having problems with my drill downs.
When I am in the host query, defining a parameter for a drill down, I select the field from the drop-down field list.
When it formats the parameter statement, it puts 'null' in front of my parameter value.
This had happened while I was stepping through the tutorial and also now that I'm trying to create my own queries.
For example, from the tutorial, it builds this parameter statement:
&PRODUCTTYPE=nullCEN_ORDERS.T2_INVENTORY.PRODUCTTYPE

Any ideas or suggestions?
Thank you,
Karen

I am running DB2 Web Query education classes with handson labs in Austria.
Some month ago during a handson session some of my students had exactly the same problem with the "...null..." in a drill down.
It was interesting that some of my students had this problem, and some not - all doing the same drill down exercise on the same system.
Unfortunately we didn't find out the reason for the problem, but it seems to be a Web Query bug. You should contact IBM Support.

Best regards, Georg

Georg,
Thanks for your reply. I figured it had to be a setting somewhere or a bug of some kind. Since yours is the only reply I've gotten, I'm going with the bug theory. Thanks again,
Karen

Karen - First make sure you have the latest PTFs installed. If problem persists, I agree with Georg: go ahead and open a PMR. I am not aware of a setting that would influence/override this type of behavior.

Thanks.

Thanks Gene,
Updating my PTF's was the first thing I did. Unfortunately, that didn't help.

Chiara,
Sorry it's taken so long for me to reply, but THANK YOU! That fixed the problem.
