I am new to datastage. Can you recommend good books in Datastage (with lots of samples and exercises)? Thanks.

There are no books on DataStage - though it would be good if IBM Press put one together.

There are some good tutorials showing up at LeverageInformation
There are thousands of examples and tips in the archives of www.dsxchange.com
There are some good tips on my two year old blog Tooling Around on the IBM Information Server
There are a small number of articles here at Developerworks.
There is a good book that you can combine with DataStage exercises: The Data Warehouse ETL Toolkit - by Kimball and Caserta.
