I have just updated 3 HS22 server with uEFI 1.05 and now find they are unresponsive and hanging on initializing!
Anyone else had issues with or could sugggest a fix?

Suspecting a support call is required!

thanks

Yes have the CIOv fibre (emulex) installed and a CFFh 4 port Broadcom.

Does this make a difference?

I have removed both card and tried to boot and it still hangs on the initialization screen.

Hi John,

I'm trying to work through a similar problem with the 10Gb Broadcom NIC on our HS22's.

You should find that after 3 failed boots, the EFI will let you in to the setup page, you can then 'load defaults', 'save settings' (remember to do this step!) and reboot. Sometimes this fixes things for us.

I have some HS21-XM blades in the same chassis, and notice that setting the default boot order through the AMM to all blades seems to change the boot order incorrectly , and inconsistently across the blades....

We have the latest bios EFI, IMM and AMM firmware in place, and are running Centos 5.4 as the OS

good luck !

Jake

Solved by back flashing to 1.04 - am guessing there is a conflict somewhere with the Emulex card and 1.05!
