Dear reader

I have a power550 aix box without HMC. type is 8204E8A, I want to access the asmi of this server from a laptop or pc, but not able to do it. Please help to this. Describe me the exact steps to do this. I dont have a HMC.

Did you chahged default ip of ASMI ? If NOT than have to connect cross cable & assigning your laptop with same subnet as default if of ASMI.
