I am going to sit for the "IBM Certified Database Administrator" exam next week.

It seems there are two choices:
Link: Test 000-541: DB2 9.7 DBA for Linux UNIX and Windows
And
Link: Test 000-731: DB2 9 DBA for Linux UNIX and Windows

While I haven't actually worked with 9.7, it seems to me I should be pursuing the latest and greatest certification. Is there a huge difference between these exams? Anything specific I should review specific to 9.7 before taking the 541 exam?

Thanks!

Hi

I don't know for sure what the differences are, so you should take that into consideration
I believe that the verion 9.7 test will ask about new features such as PL/SQL support and oracle compatiability
If you know the stuff for the verion 9 test, I think you should go to the
db2 information center for v9.5 and then for v9.7 and just read the whats new sections,
since the exam is multiple choice, maybe reading that information briefly will suffice
