Slow Performance with 7.1.. Others experiece this? Performnc Tuning Docs?

I am curious as to how others are finding the performance of CQWeb with the latest release. I have installed CQ 7.1.02 on server with Intel Xeon CPU, 2 GHZ and 4 gb of Ram (CM and CQWEb on the same machine). The performance has been really slow; 8 to 10 seconds to log on, 4 to 6 seconds to submit a new defect, 2 to4 seconds to run a query; 4 to 6 seconds to modify a defect; significantly logner for DRs with long dynamic lists or constant lists. These are all with single users.

These times are significantly higher than the IBM Benchmark spec.

?? I was curious if other have significantly slower responses with this release
?? Are there any specific performance tunning documents available

Hello,
the next release, 7.1.1.0, will have good improvements on performances (changing tab, opening the RecordType list when submitting a new record, etc..).

For the current version, 7.1.0.2, it's possible to improve performances by tuning the CM server options in the Site Config.

I am using SQL Server 2005 back end. I am considering holding off on the upgrade to 7.1 and going with 7.0.1, but I am still trying to learn more about the configuration options for the CM Server.
