ODBC connection with TM1

Hi,
We are trying to see a Oracle client 10g datasource through an ODBC connection on a 64-bit server running TM1 9.4. We have Oracle 32-bit drivers, but can't find a solution to Access.

It says 'Unable to open Connection to Database'

Anyone familiar with this problem and know of a fix? Thanks.

Hi Naveen,

I think you've hit a problem with the Oracle ODBC driver. I guess the 32-bit ODBC Gateway service for TM1 is installed in the directory 'Program Files (x86)'. Oracle has problems with the parenthesis in the path name.
The workaround for this problem is installing the 32-bit TM1 components in an alternative directory which does not contain any parenthesis in the pathname.

If you are running 9.4 then the 32 bit gateway is no longer supported and you will need 64 bit Oracle drivers which are available from Oracle.

Is there an Oracle 64-bit driver known to work with TM1 9.4?

Any of the ones available on the Oracle site have never let me down.
