Addtional attributes of Link Component do not show up in rich text editor

I am using Websphere Portal 6.0.1.5. I created a Link component
with one additional attribute like class="mylink"

The problem is that when I insert this link component from
within IBM provided rich text editor, the additional attributes
do not show up in the generated URL.

Anybody solved this issue before?

Thanks.

Did you get a resolution to this problem? I am experiencing the same result.

I have a link component defined with additional attriutes
class="classname" and when insert a link to wcm content from the RTE and selecting the link component defined, the additional attributes are ignored.

If I put a direct reference to the link component into the RTE, <component name="link"/> the <a href class="classname"... shows correctly.

Is this a bug, or just not supported in the RTE? I have tried both IBM and Ephox editors.

We still have this problem. We use javascript as the workaround.

I would open a PMR on this issue, seems like a bug.
