Hi,

I installed tivoli common reporter for ITM report on my server, the tcr was installed and connected to my database successfully. but I am unable to generate report for ITM, each time I tried running the repor I kept on having the attached error.

my historigal data was configured as well from ITM portal.

my ITM version is 6.2 and tivoli common report is 2.2.2.

I am not really familiar with BIRT but I need to use it for this report.
Please, I need assiatance on how to go about it so I can be able to generate data for ITM using Tivoli common reporter.

I will be greatful for an assistance.

Please help.

Hi,

It seems that there is a problem with loading DB2 JDBC driver classes.
Did you copy jar files suitable for you database into the BIRT drivers directory?

db2jcc.jar and db2jcc_license_cu.jar should be copied into the following directory

<install_dir>/products/tcr/lib/birt-runtime-2_2_1/ReportEngine/plugins/org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc_2.2.1.r22x_v20070919/drivers/

You will find these jars in your DB2 installation directory in the java subdirectory - for example C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\java. In some cases you can also use drivers provided with TIP <install_dir>/universalDriver/lib.

Kind regards,

One more update.
I have missed that you are using TCR 1.1.1. In this case drivers directory is here.
<install_dir>lib\birt-runtime-2_2_1\ReportEngine\plugins\org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc_2.2.1.r22x_v20070919\drivers

BTW. Why are you using 1.1.1? I guess you should be able to get/download TCR 1.2.0.1 - part number for Windows is C1Y4HML.

Kind regards,
