Hardware specs:

IBM BladeCenter HS22

Software specs:

VMware vSphere 4.0

Issue reported:

Our customer reported an issue with setting up NIC teaming feature in VMware vSphere 4 which is installed on IBM BladeCenter HS22

Every time, when customer was trying to connect to the VMware Service Console through the vSwitch with two NICs bound as a NIC teaming, the network traffic was interrupted.

However, the issue can be eliminated if there is only one NIC card connected to the vSwitch.

My question is: Is there anything we have to set on the IBM BladeCenter HS22 in order to get the server up and running with two NICs as a team.

I am seeing a very similar problem with Windows 2008 and 2003. Any resolution or insight?
