FileNet and Web Service API

Hi,
I came across many articles about Java API to the IBM FileNet Content Manager application, but I wonder is there a WS API to the FileNet. That is, are FileNet services exposed as web services (or can they be), with WSDL and everything?
I am asking this because I would like to build a direct interface to the FileNet from non-Java technology (namely, SAP ABAP server).
If this is feasible, could you please, direct me to further source of information (a tutorial would be a treasure)?
If no, please state so, because it's valuable information for me too. Then I'll switch to my plan B: developing a Java middleware for this.

Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Igor

Hi,

Yes I would also like to know the answer to this question. Where can I get hold of the wsdl, if it is available?

I used the Java API and created wrappered web services. This also allowed me to make composite services based on my needs without coding directly to the API.
