I'm trying to find out which versions of Quality Center can interface with DOORS 9.2. The User and Installation Guide for the integration tool doesn't seem to contain this information and tells me to look in the "IBM Rational DOORS for HP Quality Center Interface 3.4 ReadMe File". However, like most things, I can't find this file on the IBM website. Does anyone know the answer?
The IBM Rational DOORS for HP Quality Center Interface version 3.4 supports v9.2 of HPQC and v9.2 of DOORS.
The DOORS development team are currently assessing QC v10 but, as yet, no announcements have been made as to when this might be supported.

Rational is committed to supporting this integration as we recognize it is very important to our DOORS customers. We currently support the integration between DOORS (both 9.1 and 9.2) to QC V9.2, and are currently reviewing our roadmap to make a commitment to test the current integration between DOORS V9.2 and QC V10.0. We expect to be able to make an announcement during July 2009 on when this integration will be supported.
Hopefully we will hear something soon. We are starting our 2010 planning and want to upgrade to DOORS v9.2 and need to make sure it is compatible with HPQC v10.x
The labs have now completed their impact assessment, allowing them to fully scope the work required to update the integration to support Quality Center 10. Given the work involved, we are now targeting November 2009 as the release point for this update.
Rest assured we appreciate the critical nature of this integration to some of our most important customers and will be taking every opportunity to bring this date forward.
I asked Ian Zimmerman why this is such an issue and he said that HP updates the QC API with every single release of QC, breaking functions that used to work. How true that is I don't know...but it does seem that DOORS customers who use this integration should know that it impacts when they can upgrade DOORS and HPQC.
I still have a client on DOORS 8.2 and the version of the integration that works on it. We haven't bothered to upgrade to the latest QC and DOORS because...well, you know.
The expected release date for the DOORS/QC integration update (i.e. support for QC 10.0) will be 13th November. The release will be distributed through the fix central website: http://www-933.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/
