Two issue that I would like to get some insight.

In the Web 2.0 course, “EGL Rich UI Development” slides 382 thru 388, the deployment workshop. I could not get the deployment to work until I deleted the “globalWeather” and “customerServices” services from my workspace. I am using Web Sphere as my application server and I was expecting to create an “EAR” file but according to the options I only have a “WAR” file option. I found the steps of creating the “EAR” file by surfing the RBD Help feature. Is this the correct way to deploy a Web Sphere “EAR” file.? Am I on the right path? And how do I get working Services “globalWeather” and “customerServices” (the services are working and tested) to work in deployment?

Also the REST Workshop worked by creating a WSDL file that was not requested in the exercise. Remember I am using Web Sphere 6.1 not Tomcat. I attempt the “REST” Services exercise server times and got frustrated and decide to generate a WSDL file and it worked. I am lost with that solution. Is this the way to create a “REST” services?
