Greetings.

I posted the same question in the System Storage forum, but got no replies yet. So I'll try it here.

We're a z/OS 1.8-shop and are upgrading to z/OS 1.9. What I want is to develop DFSMS-Healthchecks in REXX, that are to run under the z/OS Health Checker. To be able to do this, I need to access SMS Storage Group- and volume-statistics from REXX. Is there an API that I can use?

If not, I guess I'll have to roll my own. I have found that the ISMF Volume-statistics (LISTVOL-cmd)are drawn from what LSPACE gives you. Clear enough. I have also found that the Storage Group-statistics (LISTSYS-cmd)are drawn from the SMS statistics control blocks. Which control-blocks and how do I find them?
