API for VIOS   

Folks;

I've been looking through docs all day on VIOS and Z/VM and some of these docs show nice diagrams with CIM interfaces. My problem is I can't find anything of substance that talks about management of IBM virtualization products using CIM. There doesn't appear to be any API's or SDK's available. So my question is; is there anything available other then telnet, ssh, and/or ASMI web interfaces?
