Hi,

This message contains both an error report and some questions.

First the error report:

The current version of the SCXML Transformation plugin (0.1.0) does not seem to install correctly with a v7.5 Rational Software Architect. During the installation process I get the error message "No repository found at http://download.eclipse.org/technology/emft/jet/update-site/site.xml" and while trying to use the SCXML Model Editor (The Transformation Step works fine) the following error appears:

eclipse.buildId=unknown
java.fullversion=J2RE 1.6.0 IBM J9 2.4 Windows XP x86-32

JIT - r9_20080721_1330ifx2
GC - 20080724_AA
BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86, WS=win32, NL=de_DE
Framework arguments: -product com.ibm.rational.rsastd.product.v75.ide
Command-line arguments: -os win32 -ws win32 -arch x86 -product
com.ibm.rational.rsastd.product.v75.ide

Error
Mon Oct 13 10:50:27 CEST 2008
Problems occurred when invoking code from plug-in: "org.eclipse.jface".

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org/eclipse/emf/ecore/xmi/impl/XMLHandler
$MyEObjectStack.push(Lorg/eclipse/emf/ecore/EObject;)V
at com.ibm.xtools.scxml.model.util.SCXMLHandler.handleTransitionTarget(Unknown
Source)
... more stack trace ...

Now, the questions:

It would be interesting for us to use the SCXML plugin and I wonder if it will be developed any further or if it is the final version of a prototype with no planned development acitvities.

  • Is this plugin still updated?
  • Will there be a new version (possibly incorporating features of newer SCXML standards)?
  • If yes, when?

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Cheers,
Ed

I have the SAME problem. It seems this plug-in does not work with RSA 7.5. I get the same error messages as the ones reported above.

I hope someone from IBM going to answer this message.
