Cant view the Atom feed--only the XML code is appeared

hi all
i have created a new Atom feed by referencing the videos in the web 2.0 toolkit. But after creating the Atom feed i can only see the xml code. i got the following URL.
http://localhost/Atom/getfeed.php?db=SAMPLE&id=81
i think some additional module is to be installed with PEAR. i configured pear manually. when i execute the 'pear list' command i got the following

The PEAR modules are required to dispaly the feed creation wizard. Since you've created the feeds, all the modules are installed.

Are you seeing your XML code, or feed XML?

Feeds are in an XML-based format. They are displayed with nice formatting in Firefox2 or IE7, but Firefox1 or IE6 will just show them as raw XML. You could try the Sage extension for Firefox, or search for a free feed reader.
