I am relatively new to this type of environment. I have installed the demo on a QS20, however since I have very little knowledge in this area I need some additional information on how to run the demo from a QS20. When I start the demo using ./iRT -f scene1.irt the rendering starts. No problem there but I need information on how to view the rendered data.

So, my question is how does one setup up there client in order to view demo?

Thanks for your help.

Jenn,

While iRT is running on your blade, you can press the 'w' key to begin writing ppm files of the image. Press 'w' again, to stop writing these files. The ppm files can then be converted or viewed directly with a graphics program such as GIMP.

Otherwise, you need to run iRT on a PS3 in order to interact with the image and see it in real-time.

Thanks,

Ross
