We want to see this tool to operate over SSL enabled channels as early as possible

Please see the following article entitled "SSL configuration of the Websphere MQ Java/JMS client"

If you create your own JNDI entires you can already configure "SSLCipherSuite" in the MQConnectionFactory. I will add an option for the procedural version of this to the next iteration of the tool.
