Thank you so much for hirixml !
Its idea is brilliant, and the API is really easy to use.
I could immediately throw away hundreds of lines of my own Java code which used DOM4J. I have a report generator with dozends of dimensions, tables, joins etc. defined in a XML file. Some of the definitions used Groovy and Freemarker expressions. SQL selects are generated dynamically, and with hirixml's help, both the XML file and the Java code are much simpler than before.
