I do not have the possibility to deploy Adieu on a proper Websphere or Tomcat server. However I have RSA at hand with WTE 5.1 installed. Is it possible to deploy Adieu on this WTE for testing purposes?

I tried to import the EAR in a workspace, and added the EAR to a local Websphere 5.1 instance. But when I publish the the EAR I receive the following error message:

IWAD0216E Some paths in the server configuration are not valid. Fix the problems in the server configuration editor and try again.

The server configuration was running properly before I tried to publish Adieu.

What could I do? Thanks for any help.

Kind regards,
Wolfgang

Hi,

Thanks for trying ADIEU.

We have successfully deployed ADIEU on RSA6.0+WTE6.0 as well as RAD6.0+WTE5.1.
So I think there is no problem in deploying ADIEU on RSA+WTE5.1.

Several people seems to be having the same problem, so it may be a bug of RSA/RAD:

Maybe you should try the followings:
  • Run Rational Product Updater, and apply the latest patch.
  • Delete the test server once and add a new one. Then, publish the EAR again.
