Hello all,

I have a couple of questions:

First, I would like to install CES but I also have ViaScribe installed. Do you anticipate any conflicts with both of these tools on my laptop?

Second, can you provide me some perspective on how CES is positioned relative to the ViaScribe tool? I noticed from the screen shots the user interface is almost identical to ViaScribe and was thinking CES was integrated into ViaScribe?

Thanks in advance!
Cole

You should be able to install both CES and ViaScribe V2 without any problems.
I have not tested with the latest ViaScribe but the rest should also work as well.
CES is in a sense extension to ViaScribe V2, but also works alone if you have
ViaVoice V10/V10.5.
The output SMIL of ViaScribe should be accepted by CES.
The default file extension that CES Editing System accepts is
.CE but if you drop down the list there is also IBM ViaScribe2 (*.SMIL).
If you edit the caption and save it, CES will also update the XML (produced by ViaScribe 2).
Hope this helps.
