I am looking at various XFORM implementations, and this one is refrenced a few times.
Having downloaded it, I am in the process of overcoming the learning curve, but before I spend a lot more time on this, what is the current state of this effort, and where is it going?

Presumably, the included test page should successfully compile, but I am not getting that far (yet).

Does anyone have any insight?

Thanks in advance, Mark.

Only the very basic works. It is still very much beta. Also there is no
provision for getting a redistributable license. So commercial projects can't
use it.joe

thanks Joe, for the reply.
I got a little further using it, and there are aspects that are very
encouraging. However, as you pointed out, there is no license available for
commercial use, so it will remain an academic toy for me.
I did email IBM requesting an opening of discussion regarding licensing, but
have had no reply.thanks, Mark.

How about using PureEdge Solutions XFDL format. I know they are one of the
X-Forms authors at w3c.

Hello,

I'm not sure if you could respond because it was an old post, but did you get any feedback from IBM about the licensing for commercial use ?

This technology is currently moving out....
Hence you can touch up with Visual XForm designer which interfaces well with IE, Firefox and Netscape

thanx
