WID Update Failure

I'm currently running the below version of WID & WPS/WESB
WID
V 6.2.0.102(6.2.0.102_20090507_1330).
WPS/WESB
V 6.2.0.1.0 (6.2.0.20090415_1925).

When I run my Installation Manager to update to WID version of "Version 6.2.0.2" & WPS/WESB version of "Version 6.2.0.2.0", I'm gettting the below error and not able to update successfully.

Can anybody share the solution in this regards? Couldnt find much help anywhere else. Thanks.

I tried to update WID alone i.e. from WID - V 6.2.0.102 (6.2.0.102_20090507_1330) to WID - V6.2.0.1 to V 6.2.0.2. And suprisingly that worked.

Looks like it has to do with WPS update alone.

So now I'm trying WESB alone, will keep you posted of my updates.

My WESB update was a failure again with the same error message & error logs. Anybody to help me out?

Thanks for attaching your error as a screen capture.
In future, please also paste your error in the forum as plain text (in addition to your screen cap) so that search engines could index them.

In the past, I've had problems updating my WPS and ESB test servers on my local PC (but not the same errors as yours).
I eventually managed to update them by doing the following in sequence :
  • uninstall ESB test server
  • uninstall WPS test server.
  • launch WID with -clean, then it shut down WID again.
  • re-install ESB test server.
  • update fixpack for ESB test server.
  • launch WID with -clean, then it shut down WID again.
  • run around the table 3 times in the clockwise direction.
  • re-install WPS test server.
  • update fixpack for WPS test server.
  • launch WID with -clean

One more suggestion is to update from a local repository rather than a remote one, if you haven't done so.

I tried this to make it work at last as mentioned by zqudlyba, but with fewer steps.

  • Uninstall WESB Test Server (Will also uninstall WPS Test Server)
  • Launch WID with -clean & shutdown
  • Re-Install WESB Test Server
  • Launch WID
  • Update WESB Test Server (Will automatically updates WPS Test Server)
  • Launch WID with -clean option.

I hope this helps for any issues one should face while updating the WID.
