Hi,

I was speaking to one of our Edge specialists who advised that we should be using MAC addressing from Edge to DataPower. Mu question is would MAC work with DataPower and if so whats involved in setting this up

Thanks in advance

I think you are referring to limit the access to the DATAPOWER via the MAC address of the client connection. The appliance does support ACL's but only IP based not MAC based.
To set up MAC addressing, it should be done at the network level either by the use of DHCP leases linked directly to the MAC address of the clients and managing the ip routing. That would be the easier way to do it. Other mechanism would be NAC controlled access (somewhat similar).

Hope this helps out
