Forum for discussions of and reporting issues related to the contents of the Real Time Linux Blueprint published on IBM's Information Center for Linux.

  • Installing and using Real Time Linux: This document introduces Enterprise Real-Time Linux on supported IBM platforms. Find information about hardware and software requirements, obtaining and installing the operating system software for those platforms, and post-install configuration needed to enable real-time features. The two operating systems discussed are Red Hat's Enterprise MRG Realtime (MRG Realtime) and Novell's SUSE Linux Enterprise Real Time (SLERT). Also provided is information about obtaining IBM's WebSphere Real Time product, an important part of IBM's real-time offering. Finally, a section on managing real-time scheduling attributes is included.
