We're relaunching this forum to cover a broad range of topics relevant to grid computing. Please share your thoughts, questions and useful information on grid computing, such as questions if you are new to grid, lessons learned and experiences, and product-related questions and insight. We're here to help you in your grid deployments and projects and to understand what grid is and what benefits it has to offer. Potential topics might be: grid and virtualization, grid approaches, grid architecture, grid components, grid scheduling and specific products (such as OpenPBS, Platform LSF, and Condor), data grids and information virtualization, storage virtualization, file virtualization, and data virtualization. Also grid standards, Web service standards, OGSA, Globus Toolkit (Univa, MDS, GRAM, etc.), and building the grid business case. If you have specific questions about IBM's grid-related products, provide as much detailed information as possible in your post, as this will promote a more efficient dialog. A wide variety of IBM's grid practioners will monitor this forum.
