Get an overview of Rational Software Architect in this basic tutorial, which includes demos and hello world exercises. You'll need to download the free trial version of Rational Software Architect. Try a hands-on application of how to design an application using UML diagrams, publish the model information into a Web page, and transform the design to Java using Rational Software Architect.

Prerequisites

This tutorial is for application designers at a beginning level, but you should have a general familiarity with using the Eclipse development environment.

To run the examples in this tutorial, you need to install IBM Rational Software Architect v6.0.
