XML, XSL, yadda, yadda, yadda. Lots of hype, but is it all just sizzle and no steak? This tutorial will show you what the fuss is all about. Learn how to use all the cool new XML features of Notes/Domino 6 to integrate XML data or, for that matter, any data that can be converted to and from XML. By understanding how to use these new technologies in your designs, you can produce better applications in less time!

Prerequisites

You'll need to be familiar with Domino's LotusScript language, Domino application design elements (agents, scriptlibraries, etc.), HTML, XML, XSL and XSLT stylesheets. Also, a familiarity with XSL-FO will be helpful.


System requirements

You'll have to have the following tools installed and running properly before beginning the tutorial (the tutorial includes a link to a free trial download of Lotus Notes Client 6 and the other required tools):

  • Lotus Notes Client 6
  • FO -> PDF composer from alphaWorks
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
