In this tutorial, you'll learn about the fundamental concepts of data manipulation in DB2 databases. This is the second tutorial in a series of seven tutorials that you can use to help prepare for the DB2 UDB V8.1 Family Application Development Certification exam (Exam 703).

Prerequisites

To take the DB2 UDB V8.1 Family Application Development exam, you must have already passed the DB2 UDB V8.1 Family Fundamentals exam (Exam 700). It is a very popular series that has helped many people understand the fundamentals of the DB2 family of products.


System requirements

The tutorial includes a link to a free trial download of IBM DB2 Universal Database Enterprise Edition. However, you do not need a copy of DB2 Universal Database to complete the tutorial.
