Cloud: WebSphere eXtreme Scale

Use WebSphere eXtreme Scale V7.0 on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2). WebSphere eXtreme Scale processes massive volumes of transactions with extreme efficiency and linear scalability. It operates as an in-memory data grid that dynamically caches, partitions, replicates, and manages application data and business logic across multiple servers.

Develop and deploy on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) can develop applications on Amazon EC2 using the WebSphere eXtreme Scale development Amazon Machine Image (AMI). The WebSphere eXtreme Scale AMI is available at the low cost of your Amazon Web Services usage, with no time limits, and support provided through the WebSphere Extended Deployment forum. There is no fee from IBM for the AMI.

Get started

To start developing on Amazon EC2, you'll need an Amazon account. If you don't have one, you can create it as part of the registration process.

Register with Amazon and start using the development AMI for WebSphere eXtreme Scale 7.0.
