Learn about this exercise
WebSphere Operational Decision Management (WODM) is the evolution of IBM's market-leading business rules platform, enhanced with event processing capabilities, which now provides powerful decision automation technologies in a single offering (consolidation of functions from WebSphere ILOG JRules BRMS and WebSphere Business Events).
Using the four exercises listed here, you will learn how WebSphere Operational Decision Management automates a wide range of decisions for line-of-business users while providing them the means to change and govern those decisions. This flexibility enables much needed business agility in the market today. These exercises are based on a customer acquisition scenario by a multi-channel, insurance-underwriting firm to show how this technology can improve the precision and timing of interactions in both front- and back-office systems.
