Learn about this exercise

In this exercise you will use Rational Application Developer to create an Open Service Component Assembly that leverages components implemented in Java and connects with Web services and EJBs.

When your assembly is complete, you will deploy and test it in WebSphere Application Server V7 Feature Pack for SCA. The objective of this exercise is to help you understand how SCA makes it easier to develop reusable service components and improves agility by enabling you to adapt existing assets to change requirements.
