Download a free trial of IBM Lotus Protector for Mail Security software appliance, which delivers integrated protection for IBM Lotus Quickr®, for WebSphere® Portal, and for IBM Connections software with feature-rich content filtering capabilities. This appliance extends the capability of IBM Lotus Domino and mixed email infrastructures to scan email for business-confidential information or for personal content such as social security numbers, customizable keywords, and offensive content, and block it before it leaves your business. Download the trial for an evaluation period of 90 days. After you click Download, select Lotus Protector for Mail Security, and choose from two install options.
- Download a hardware image and deploy the trial as a physical appliance on IBM System x® hardware.
- Download the VMWare image and deploy the trial as a virtual appliance on VMWare software.

The estimated download time over a 1.5 Mbps connection is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes for the hardware image and 3 hours for the VMWare image.
To activate the trial, select Use trial license in the License Number window. If you later purchase the product, you can enter your IBM customer number in the License Number window and the trial becomes your entitled product without any further update or re-intallation.
