Checklist for documentation
  • Finalize all internal system documentation needed for maintenance and support
  • Finalize external documentation needed to ship with the product

Once the application and database functionality have been validated and tuned, application documentation should be updated to cover DB2. This should include configuration and tuning tips discovered by the development and performance tuning teams.

If the product will be sold commercially, additional collateral (sales, marketing, installation notes, and so on) will also be needed, and should be governed by your existing policies and procedures.
