Optim™ Performance Manager for DB2® for Linux®, UNIX®, and Windows® 4.1 is a major step forward in database monitoring capabilities for monitoring DB2 databases. This release delivers a re-architected, Web-based user interface that provides overview and alert dashboards for immediate problem detection with a guided workflow to diagnostic dashboards to simplify root cause analysis. Integration with Optim Query Tuner assists in solving SQL problems. Configuration and management for DB2 workload manager makes it easier to help you prioritize database workloads. Optim Performance Manager Extended Edition adds even more performance monitoring capability, such as end-to-end database performance for Java™, CLI, and, new in 4.1.0.1, .NET applications. It integrates with Tivoli® monitoring for enterprise-wide monitoring capabilities and configuration support for autonomic enforcement of performance objectives using DB2 workload manager.
