About this webcast

IBM recently acquired Solid Information Technology, a leading provider of in-memory, relational database software that is now part of IBM Information Management. This webcast provides a technical overview of the architecture and capabilities of IBM solidDB, with a focus on the in-memory database implementation. You'll learn how it has been built to provide micro-second response times, high transaction throughput, and sub-second failover.

The webcast includes use cases for how solidDB is currently used, as well as performance benchmark results. Finally, you'll see how solidDB can be integrated as a front-end cache to accelerate access to data stored in IBM DB2® and Informix® Dynamic Server.
