Jean-Marc Blaise, IT Solutions Architect, Delta DB

Jean-Marc Blaise is an IT Solutions Architect for Delta DB, a company in France that specializes in DB2 for z/OS® and DB2 for Linux®, UNIX®, and Windows®. Delta DB assists customers in migrating from competing database systems to DB2, as well as designing, maintaining, and optimizing their information systems. Delta DB provides a "Database Easy Deploy" solution that includes licensing, training, and consulting on DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows. The company also provides expertise and teaches a transition class on DB2 for z/OS.
Jean-Marc is working on several project in France and other countries in Europe to help companies make the best use of new features in DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows: XML, migration, performance design, security, and high availability, as well as working with related tools that he tested extensively during the IBM beta program, such as Optim® Performance Manager, Merge Backup, and Recovery Expert.

Iqbal has a PhD in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, Canada.
