Jean-Marc Blaise is an IT Solutions Architect for Delta DB, a company in France that specializes in DB2 for z/OS® and DB2 for Linux®, UNIX®, and Windows®. Delta DB assists customers in migrating from competing database systems to DB2, as well as designing, maintaining, and optimizing their information systems. Delta DB provides a "Database Easy Deploy" solution that includes licensing, training, and consulting on DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows. The company also provides expertise and teaches a transition class on DB2 for z/OS.
Jean-Marc is working on several project in France and other countries in Europe to help companies make the best use of new features in DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows: XML, migration, performance design, security, and high availability, as well as working with related tools that he tested extensively during the IBM beta program, such as Optim® Performance Manager, Merge Backup, and Recovery Expert.

Iqbal has been involved in all aspects of relational databases including database architecture, strategy, design, modeling, development, and administration. Iqbal has extensive project support and technical liaison experience within DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows environments. During four years in the IBM Toronto Lab, Iqbal worked on several versions of DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows, and published two IBM patents. As well as leading the Managed Services (remote DBA) team and running the DB2 midrange consulting and education team, Iqbal is also an active consultant and is engaged with customers for short, focused assignments to help them with all DB2 issues. Iqbal has a PhD in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, Canada.
Martin Hubel is President of Martin Hubel Consulting, Inc. An Information Champion, Martin has consulted and taught more than 400 clients worldwide to use DB2 effectively. Since 1985, Martin has been active in a number of professional organizations including the International DB2 Users Group (IDUG), is an internationally recognized speaker and author on DB2, and has been in many beta programs. Martin's current engagements include expert support for DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows, and teaching classes on DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows performance and DB2 10 for z/OS new features.
Sameer Kumar joined Misys PLC as a fresher in 2009 and since then has been working as a DBA there. He supports banking product development with DB2, DB2 for i, SQL Server, and Oracle as RDBMS. Terry Mason is a database consultant, specialising in large data warehousing. He was a founding board member of the International DB2 Users Group (IDUG), is also a member of the IBM GOLD Data Management program, and is an IBM Champion.
