The IBM Case Manager Solution Assistant is a tool that allows you to perform a variety of convenient tasks when working with solutions provided by IBM Case Manager. The tool helps you copy a solution, create a solution from a template, or promote a solution to be a template. In addition, you can use the tool to generate lists of properties and document types available within the target object store.
The Solution Assistant is distributed as a self-contained zip file. Unzip the file to a location of your choice on the same system where IBM Case Manager is installed. Before you use the Solution Assistant, be sure to review the IBM Case Manager Solution Assistant User's Guide include in the zip file.
The Solution Assistant requires a direct connection to a single Content Engine instance. A high-availability (HA) clustered Content Engine environment is not supported by the Solution Assistant. If you are using a farmed or clustered Content Engine, you must use a direct connection for the Solution Assistant to be able to communicate with the Content Engine. Do not use a load-balanced connection.
