The IBM® Software Development Kit (SDK) for IBM Enterprise Workload Manager for Multiplatforms (EWLM) is a tool to aid in the development and test of Application Response Measurement (ARM) 4.0-level instrumentation in applications and middleware, and the development and test of EWLM ARM Adapter library implementations.
The EWLMSDK provides the following capabilities to developers:
Header and library files required for ARM 4.0 instrumentation of C-language Windows® applications and middleware.
Java™ interface files required for ARM 4.0 instrumentation of Java applications and middleware.
Header files required for implementing a Windows EWLM ARM Adapter.
A fully functional C and Java EWLM ARM 4.0 Windows runtime environment for testing Windows application and middleware ARM instrumentation, and for testing Windows EWLM ARM Adapter implementations.
A fully functional EWLM Windows domain manager and managed server runtime environment for collecting aggregated ARM transaction data.
An SDK User Interface for deploying and activating built in and SDK user defined EWLM domain and service policies, for running built in sample workloads, and for viewing EWLM aggregated transaction class and service class results.
A sample policy, in XML document format, that can be modified for testing specific Windows application and middleware ARM instrumentation.
