Gary R. Hook is a senior technical consultant in the Solutions Development Group at IBM, providing application development, porting, and technical assistance to independent software vendors. Mr. Hook's professional experience focuses on Unix-based application development. Upon joining IBM in 1990, he worked with the AIX Technical Support center in Southlake, Texas, providing consulting and technical support services to customers, with an emphasis upon AIX application architecture.
