  • March 2003: Rational Software joins developerWorks.

  • April 2003: developerWorks adds Grid and Autonomic computing zones. developerWorks toolbox subscription is available to users.

  • June 2003: WebSphere Developer Domain, DB2 Developer Domain, and Lotus Developer Domain merge with developerWorks to become the DB2 zone (now Information Management), WebSphere zone, and Lotus zone.

  • December 2003: developerWorks officially launches the "supersite," pulling technical, open source, and IBM developer resources together into one site.

  • February 2004: developerWorks offers the Power Pack evaluation kits.

  • February 2004: Readers of Java Developer's Journal select IBM developerWorks as having the best Java training program.
