IBM resources for academia
IBM's Project Praviin program is launched to better educate millions of students for a more skilled and competitive IT workforce. The program offers a broad range of resources and support to students, faculty and institutions, aiming to provide skills in open standards, critical in a fast-paced and ever-changing IT industry. This program has already trained 574 students and 22 faculties in the engineering colleges in Punjab. There are 283 students and 14 faculties certified on IBM technologies in the city. IBM has already established Centres of Excellence in Chandigarh at Indo Global college of engineering, Chitkara School of Engineering & Technology.
