IBM resources for academia
IBM's Project Praviin program is launched to better educate millions of students for a more skilled and competitive IT workforce. The program offers a broad range of resources and support to students, faculty and institutions, aiming to provide skills in open standards, critical in a fast-paced and ever-changing IT industry. This program has already trained 3583 students and 465 faculties in the engineering colleges in Pune. There are 2102 students and 169 faculties certified on IBM technologies in the city. IBM has already established Centres of Excellence in Pune at College of Engineering Pune, International Institute of Informational Technology, Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Maharastra Academy of Engineering, Pune Vidhyarthi Griha's College of Engineering and Technology, Smt Kashibai Navale College of Engineering [SKNCOE], Vidya Pratishthan's College Of Engineering, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology.
