Announcing the no-charge, introductory module for the IBM Cloud for Financial Services Specialty learning path by the IBM Center for Cloud Training.
Last month, IBM released the industry’s first financial services-ready cloud platform, IBM Cloud for Financial Services. Now, IBM Cloud is welcoming hundreds of financial services industry customers and technology partners.
Today, I’m pleased to announce the availability of the no-charge introductory module for the IBM Cloud for Financial Services learning path. The introductory module is nontechnical, provides the big picture and can be completed in about 30 minutes. Whether you’re getting ready for a technical deep dive or not, this module explains the reasons for the excitement about IBM Cloud for Financial Services.

About the learning path
The IBM Cloud for Financial Services learning path will include approximately six hours of content that explores top use cases, key components and reference architectures. Modules will be added to the learning path as they become available.
When complete, this learning path will include the following topics:
- IBM Cloud for Financial Services: Components, risk and compliance
- Customer workload environments
- Technical solution design
- Implementation considerations
- Compliance reports and service level agreements (SLA)
- Optional IBM Cloud Specialty credential, which can be earned by passing the proctored IBM Cloud for Financial Services Specialty exam
This specialty learning path is an extension to the professional-level IBM Cloud learning paths for Cloud Architects, Cloud Developers and Site Reliability Engineers.
Access to the full learning path is available with an IBM Cloud role-based learning subscription, available from IBM Business Partners, IBM Sellers and the IBM Training marketplace. Exams are administered by a third party, Pearson VUE, and are not included in the learning subscription price.
IBM Center for Cloud Training at IBM Think 2021
Cloud training for financial services organizations is a hot topic at the IBM Think 2021 virtual conference. Thibault Dauphin, Cloud Education Lead at BNP Paribas, a large International Financial Services company, talks about upskilling for traditional IT roles and all-new roles that emerge in large-scale cloud projects.
