As part of the WPP Coretech Strategy & Architecture team Mark is responsible for developing the target architecture for Office 365 and studio production systems for WPP group companies.

An experienced strategic and operational leader, with first class knowledge of large scale digital content production, management, archive and distribution systems, and a proven track record in the design, implementation, and management of systems that typically lead the field by several years Mark has been instrumental in developing the concept of lightweight distributed workgroups which are integrated across all media. As CTO, a founding member of Hogarth and the conceptual architect of its production systems Mark has managed the growth of technology for the company that has expanded to over 1,500 staff globally in seven years and is seen as a global leader in the area of large scale production for multilingual marketing and advertising material.

Richard was appointed to the role General Manager, Infrastructure and Operations at the end of 2014. Prior to this Richard was Chief Information Officer (CIO) to BT Financial Group and in 2013 his responsibilities were extended to include CIO Westpac Retail, Business Banking and Wealth (BT). Richard will be responsible for transforming Westpac Group's technology infrastructure while maintaining system security and stability.

Since joining the Westpac Group in 1997, Richard’s roles have included Head of the Wrap Platforms and Superannuation Technology, Head of Technology for the Financial Planning Business, Head of Architecture and Head of Customer Applications.

With more than 20 years experience in Information Technology Richard has also held roles in Advance Funds Management, Digital Equipment Corporation and as an Actuary. Richard has a BSc First Class Honours degree in Applied Mathematics from Newcastle University.

Mark Josephson has been CEO of Bitly since July 2013. He was previously CEO of Outside.in, a hyperlocal media company that was acquired by AOL in 2011 and has since merged with Patch.com, where he then served as a senior vice president. Prior to that, Mark was president of Internet marketer Seevast, and, before that, general manager and executive vice president of About.com.

Mr. Alessi began his career in the financial markets as a proprietary trader in the mid 1990’s with his focus on algorithmic modeling. His forward-thinking entrepreneurial leadership skills helped shape one of the world’s largest proprietary trading firms that pioneered the electronic day trading era and eventually sold for more than $140M.

Prior to forming Alpha Modus in July of 2014, Mr. Alessi consulted for numerous multi-billion dollar family offices on systematic trading and investment technologies under Hybrid Titan Management. With over 20 years of experience trading markets Mr. Alessi has displayed numerous examples of achievement in a constantly changing environment and possesses first-hand experience in developing, deploying, and leading the execution of quantitative and algorithmic investment technologies.

Tanmay Bakshi is a 12 year old Software Developer, specializing in iOS, watchOS and Mac OS Development (Objective-C/Swift). He has been programming since he was 5, starting with DOS and C, further developing with VB and Python, and had his first iOS App, tTables, accepted by the Apple App Store, at the age of 9; becoming one of the youngest app developers. He has also created and implemented Algorithms like the Tower of Hanoi and AskTanmay, to name a few. His recent interests have been exploring and implementing numerous IBM Watson / Alchemy APIs on Bluemix into Python and Swift applications. Has had the privilege to be among the 24 newsmakers of year 2013, chosen by the Toronto Star newspaper, and to be a part of the Bloomberg Businessweek as one of the 7 Young Entrepreneurs in 2014. Tanmay has been very passionate about learning, and sharing knowledge through his tutorials on his YouTube Channel. His most recent innovation in the field of cognitive sciences is: “The AskTanmay Natural Language Question Answering System, that uses IBM Watson’s Cognitive Capabilities”

Charles Williams is currently the Sr. Director of Service Strategy and Collaboration Engineering for NBCUniversal. In this role he’s responsible for creating service strategies for NBCU’s Application Platform Engineering technology solutions; primarily focused on DevOps transformation and Enterprise collaboration services. He has worked for NBCUniversal for 9 years, having previously worked in various industries including healthcare, consulting, application development and insurance. Charles is a native of Chicago, IL but has lived in Southern California for most of the last 15 years. He and his wife Jennifer have three children ages 8, 6, 3 and spend their free time split between the kid’s soccer field and vacationing.

Sean is a Specialist with the Managed File Transfer Team within Enterprise Technology Solution at Nationwide. Sean graduated with a BBA from the University of New Mexico. He spent a year abroad in Sydney, Australia, where he met his wife Rachel. He currently resides in Westerville, Ohio with his lovely wife and their dog Toohey.

Chris began in the ATO in 2000 as an SES Band 1 for Enterprise Architecture and is based in the National Office in Canberra ACT. He has over twenty years’ experience in the Australian Government working for Defence, Social Security, Attorney General’s Office and Centrelink in a range of business and IT roles. He has experience in many roles in a number of business lines within the ATO including: Enterprise Architecture, Web Service Platform Development, Business Strategy Development, Chief Architect and his current role within eCommerce Service Delivery.

Chris is currently undertaking the role of Assistant Commissioner for eCommerce Service Delivery in Enterprise Solutions & Technology (EST). Chris also holds a Bachelor of Science, Graduate Diploma in Computing Studies and is currently completing a Masters in Information Technology...

Mr. Davenport has an extensive IT background spanning more than 20 years. As a leader in the IT industry, he is pioneering 21st century solutions to modernize the eye care industry. Regulations such as HIPAA, PCI and ICD-10 have changed the way the patient healthcare data is protected. As the chief IT officer of one of the fastest growing eye care companies in the country, Mr. Davenport has devised innovative solutions to scale and protect the ever increasing volume of patient data.

Claus has been working in the technology space for over 20 years and has seen the transition from monolithic applications to open Systems of Engagement. After spending much of his career in the SOA and integration space, he strongly believes that an integrated Enterprise is more important than ever. Only the notion of what it means to be integrated has changed rapidly and now includes the business network outside the walls of your own organization.
